Job Brief
As an Auto Research Engineer, you will perform critical engineering duties in planning and designing innovative tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment. This role encompasses overseeing the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of essential equipment, including centralized heating, gas, water, and steam systems. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, alongside proven experience in automotive design and development processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automotive systems and components based on user requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies and performance analysis to optimize mechanical systems.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of automotive equipment and systems.
- Implement and monitor maintenance programs to ensure optimal operation of mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve mechanical issues effectively.
- Prepare detailed documentation, including design specifications, reports, and technical manuals.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to enhance innovation in automotive engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in automotive design and development, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong analytical skills and experience with statistical analysis and performance metrics.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to automotive engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PE, PMP) are a plus.
