Job Brief
The Direct Support (Dirsup)/Ships Signals Exploitation Equipment Operator plays a critical role in the operational effectiveness of military communications and surveillance systems. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor communications, detection, and weapons systems to ensure seamless control of air, ground, and naval operations.
- Maintain and relay critical communications between air, naval, and ground forces during missions.
- Implement emergency response plans for natural and wartime disasters, ensuring prompt action and coordination.
- Relay command center information to military and government decision-makers effectively and accurately.
- Monitor surveillance and detection systems, including air defense, to provide situational awareness.
- Interpret and evaluate tactical situations, providing recommendations for operational improvements to superiors.
- Operate weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to support strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Direct Support Operator or in a similar role within military or defense environments.
- Familiarity with advanced communications and surveillance technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex tactical situations.
- Excellent communication skills for effective information relay and collaboration.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in high-stakes situations.
- Relevant certifications in operational systems or military technology preferred.
- Proficiency in operating weapons systems and their integrated computer systems.
