Job Brief
The Head Butler oversees the daily operations of personal service staff, ensuring exceptional service delivery in private residences, luxury hotels, or exclusive establishments. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of butlers and personal service staff to uphold service excellence.
- Develop and implement service protocols and standards to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Manage schedules, assignments, and performance evaluations for the service team.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of service areas and equipment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for guests, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in hospitality and customer service.
- Plan and execute special events and private functions in coordination with guests’ preferences.
- Maintain an inventory of supplies, managing procurement and budgeting effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head Butler, Butler, or in a similar role in the luxury hospitality sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on service excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of fine dining service, etiquette, and hospitality trends.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in managing budgets and inventory control.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Relevant certifications in hospitality or management are a plus.
