Job Brief
As a Hazardous Waste Management Control Engineer, you will play a critical role in the prevention, control, and remediation of environmental hazards. Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of hazardous waste sites to develop effective remediation strategies.
- Design and implement waste treatment systems and pollution control measures to minimize environmental impact.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with environmental laws and standards.
- Perform engineering analyses and modeling to support hazardous waste management projects.
- Supervise field investigations and site assessments related to hazardous materials.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to project designs, findings, and compliance measures.
- Research and develop innovative technologies for waste management and environmental protection.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred or required in certain regions.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hazardous waste management or environmental engineering.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and policies, including RCRA and CERCLA.
- Proficiency in engineering software and modeling tools relevant to waste management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
