Job Brief

Responsibilities

  • Educate parents and guardians on health maintenance, nutrition, and physical development.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and healthcare teams to deliver coordinated care.
  • Monitor and manage chronic conditions, providing ongoing support and adjustments to treatment as needed.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of a residency in Pediatrics accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
  • Board certification in Pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) or equivalent.
  • Active state medical license and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in clinical assessments.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of pediatric health trends.
