Job Brief
As a Department Store Salesperson, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while promoting and selling various merchandise, including apparel, appliances, furniture, and motor vehicles. Responsibilities

- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and inventory to assist customers effectively.
- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked with merchandise.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Assist in merchandising and display strategies to promote products effectively.
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets through proactive selling techniques.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in retail or sales is a plus.
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service in a department store setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective customer interaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and handling cash.
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail management software.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of current retail trends and customer preferences is advantageous.
