Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client needs, strengths, and barriers to employment.
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans that include personal and vocational counseling.
- Coordinate services and activities for residents in care and treatment facilities to promote skill development.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance job readiness and vocational skills.
- Assist clients in job placement by identifying suitable employment opportunities and supporting the application process.
- Monitor client progress and adjust rehabilitation programs as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, employers, and community resources to provide comprehensive support.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions and program outcomes for reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of vocational rehabilitation principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse clients.
- Experience in case management, personal counseling, or job placement services.
- Proficient in using assessment tools and rehabilitation planning software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and reporting.
