Job Brief
As a Vending Machine Filler, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of various vending, coin, and amusement machines, including video games, jukeboxes, pinball machines, and slot machines. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills and experience in troubleshooting and repairing machines. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent customer service skills who can work independently to ensure optimal machine performance and product availability.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain vending machines and amusement devices to ensure proper functionality and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections and adjustments to vending machines, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- Restock machines with products, ensuring inventory levels are maintained and products are fresh and appealing.
- Perform minor repairs on coin mechanisms and electronic components to minimize downtime.
- Communicate with customers to address inquiries and resolve any service-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, inventory usage, and machine performance metrics.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies while performing installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize routing and scheduling for service visits.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electronics, mechanics, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a vending machine technician or in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills with experience in repairing coin-operated machines.
- Familiarity with electronic components and basic electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between service locations.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting.
