Job Brief
The Utility Bagger is responsible for efficiently packing or packaging a diverse range of products and materials by hand. Responsibilities
- Hand-pack various products and materials, ensuring proper handling and adherence to safety protocols.
- Inspect products for quality assurance and report any defects or discrepancies.
- Utilize appropriate packing materials and techniques to protect items during shipping and storage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all operational guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed.
- Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in packaging, manufacturing, or warehouse settings is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring and counting products.
- Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations in manufacturing environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
