Job Brief
The Tomahawk Weapon System (Surface) Operator is responsible for targeting, firing, and maintaining advanced naval weaponry used to neutralize enemy positions, aircraft, and vessels. Responsibilities
- Operate and manage Tomahawk missiles and related weapon systems for effective engagement of targets.
- Conduct thorough testing, inspection, and storage of ammunition, missiles, and torpedoes to ensure operational readiness.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on weapon systems and associated equipment.
- Establish and maintain secure radio and wire communications within the artillery crew.
- Utilize weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to accurately engage targets.
- Collaborate with other military personnel to develop and implement tactical plans for combat operations.
- Document operational activities and maintain accurate records of weapon system performance and maintenance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines to ensure the security of personnel and equipment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a weapons operator or in a similar military role, specifically with missile and torpedo systems.
- Strong understanding of naval warfare strategies and artillery operations.
- Technical proficiency in operating weapons targeting, firing, and launch systems.
- Ability to conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and command structures.
- Certification in weapon system operations and military training in artillery or missile systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to adapt to dynamic combat environments.
