Job Brief

As a Tire Servicer, you will play a critical role in ensuring vehicle safety and performance through the repair and replacement of tires. You will be responsible for diagnosing tire issues, performing tire installations, balancing, and ensuring proper wheel alignment. Ideal candidates will possess strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in tire servicing or automotive maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of tires to identify wear, damage, and air pressure issues.
  • Perform tire repairs, including patching and plugging, to extend tire lifespan.
  • Replace worn or damaged tires, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
  • Balance tires to ensure smooth vehicle operation and reduce vibration.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by advising customers on tire care and maintenance.
  • Document all services performed and maintain accurate records of tire inventory.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in tire technology.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in automotive technology is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Tire Servicer or in a related automotive service role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tire servicing tools and equipment.
  • Ability to lift heavy tires and operate tire-changing machines safely.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
