Job Brief

As an In Flight Refueling System Repairer, you will be responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, adjustment, and repair of avionics equipment, including radar, radio, navigation, and missile control systems in aircraft and space vehicles. This role requires a solid understanding of complex avionics systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively. Ideal candidates will possess hands-on experience with avionics repair and maintenance, along with strong analytical skills to ensure optimal system performance in high-pressure scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure avionics systems and equipment for in-flight refueling operations.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and tests on avionics components to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair faults in radar, radio, navigation, and missile control systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve avionics systems and implement upgrades.
  • Follow established protocols and guidelines to ensure safety and reliability in all repair processes.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians on avionics repair techniques and safety practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in avionics or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an avionics technician or in a related role within the aerospace industry.
  • Strong knowledge of avionics systems, including electrical and electronic principles.
  • Certification in avionics technology or aircraft maintenance preferred.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment for system repairs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
