Job Brief
The Imagery Intelligence Specialist plays a critical role in the analysis and interpretation of visual data from various sources, including satellite imagery, aerial reconnaissance, and drone surveillance. This position requires a deep understanding of geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) and the ability to apply advanced analytical techniques to support military operations, strategic planning, and tactical decision-making. Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret imagery from multiple sources, including satellite and aerial platforms.
- Produce actionable intelligence reports and visual presentations for military operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support mission planning and execution.
- Utilize advanced imagery analysis software and tools to enhance data interpretation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and methodologies in imagery intelligence.
- Ensure compliance with military protocols and security measures during analysis and reporting.
- Conduct training and mentorship for junior analysts in imagery interpretation techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Geography, Environmental Science, or Military Studies.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in imagery analysis or a related field.
- Proficient in imagery analysis software, such as ArcGIS, ERDAS Imagine, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of geospatial intelligence principles and practices.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear and concise reports.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant certifications, such as Certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) or similar, are a plus.
