Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Lift Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating industrial trucks or tractors equipped to move materials efficiently around various locations, such as warehouses, storage yards, factories, and construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess experience in material handling and a strong understanding of safety protocols. Responsibilities
- Operate hydraulic lifts and industrial trucks to transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles, maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and enhance productivity.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Participate in training programs to improve skills and stay updated on industry best practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Proven experience operating hydraulic lifts or similar industrial vehicles.
- Knowledge of material handling procedures and safety standards.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
