Job Brief
The High Pressure Compressed Gas Filler is responsible for operating various types of compressors—including steam, gas, electric motor, and internal combustion engines—to efficiently transmit, compress, or recover gases such as butane, nitrogen, hydrogen, and natural gas. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor high-pressure compressors to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of gas filling equipment to prevent malfunctions.
- Safely handle and transfer high-pressure gases while adhering to industry safety standards.
- Document and report operational data, including gas volumes and pressure readings, for compliance and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
- Train new employees on equipment operation and safety procedures related to high-pressure gas filling.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in gas handling or related fields preferred.
- Proven experience operating high-pressure compressors and gas filling systems.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on safety and operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with gas handling regulations and safety protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
