Job Brief
As an Educational Psychologist, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and implementing effective interventions to address educational, behavioral, and developmental challenges affecting student performance in a school setting. Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify students’ educational, behavioral, and developmental needs.
- Design and implement individualized intervention strategies to enhance student learning and well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to develop comprehensive performance plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust strategies as needed.
- Provide counseling support to students and families facing educational challenges.
- Facilitate training sessions for school staff on behavioral management and educational psychology best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
- Stay updated on current trends and research in educational psychology and related fields.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology or a related field.
- State licensure or certification as an Educational Psychologist.
- Proven experience in conducting psychological assessments and developing intervention plans.
- Strong knowledge of educational systems, child development, and learning theories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to analyze data and implement evidence-based strategies.
- Experience with counseling techniques and behavior modification strategies.
- Familiarity with legal and ethical considerations in educational psychology.
