Job Brief

The Helicopter Specialist is responsible for performing in-flight operations to ensure the successful execution of combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue missions. This role requires extensive experience in operating sophisticated aircraft systems and equipment, along with strong technical skills in communication, navigation, and safety procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in aircraft inspections, weapon systems management, and in-flight refueling operations while adhering to stringent safety protocols and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Operate aircraft communications and detection equipment, establishing satellite links and jamming enemy communications.
  • Conduct preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections of onboard equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Manage and maintain aircraft weapons and defensive systems to ensure mission readiness and effectiveness.
  • Execute in-flight refueling operations and maintain associated systems for operational efficiency.
  • Implement safety and emergency procedures, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and standards.
  • Compute and verify weight and balance data for passengers, cargo, fuel, and special equipment.
  • Conduct cargo and personnel drops in accordance with mission requirements and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Helicopter Specialist or in a similar aviation role.
  • Valid pilot’s license or military equivalent certification for helicopter operation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems, communications equipment, and weaponry.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations, emergency protocols, and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in high-stakes operational environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
