Job Brief
As a Hawk Missile System Crewmember, you will be responsible for targeting, firing, and maintaining advanced missile systems designed to neutralize enemy positions, aircraft, and vessels. This role requires proficiency in operating weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems, as well as conducting preventive and routine maintenance on missile and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in military operations, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to teamwork in high-pressure environments.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Hawk missile systems to ensure optimal performance during combat operations.
- Conduct targeting and firing procedures to engage enemy positions, aircraft, and vessels effectively.
- Test, inspect, and store ammunition, missiles, and torpedoes in accordance with safety protocols.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on missile systems and associated equipment.
- Establish and maintain radio and wire communications for effective operational coordination.
- Utilize weapons targeting and launch computer systems for accurate engagement.
- Analyze system performance data to identify and rectify operational issues.
- Collaborate with team members to execute strategic military operations efficiently.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; military training in air defense artillery or related field preferred.
- Strong technical skills in operating and maintaining missile systems and associated equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and operational coordination.
- Valid military clearance or ability to obtain security clearance as required.
- Experience in conducting maintenance and inspections on military weaponry.
- Familiarity with computer systems related to weapons targeting and firing.
