Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools and hand-held power tools to grind, sand, and polish various materials.

- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, performing routine maintenance as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Document and report any issues with materials or equipment to supervisors.
- Keep work area clean and organized to promote efficiency and safety.
- Train and mentor junior staff on finishing techniques and best practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in finishing techniques preferred.
- Proven experience as a hand buffer or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of grinding, sanding, and polishing techniques and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects as required.
