Job Brief
As a Hair and Makeup Designer, you will provide exceptional beauty services, including cutting, coloring, and styling hair, along with applying makeup and dressing wigs. Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to determine their hair and makeup needs and preferences.
- Perform hair cutting, coloring, and styling services, tailoring techniques to suit individual client styles.
- Apply makeup for various occasions, including special events, photoshoots, and everyday wear.
- Massage and treat the scalp to promote relaxation and hair health.
- Shampoo and condition hair to prepare for styling and treatments.
- Dress wigs and provide maintenance services to ensure their longevity.
- Stay updated with the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products to offer clients innovative services.
- Ensure a clean and sanitary work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hair and Makeup Designer or similar role in the beauty industry.
- Valid cosmetology or makeup artistry license as required by state or local regulations.
- Strong knowledge of hair cutting, coloring techniques, and makeup application methods.
- Familiarity with various beauty products and tools, including hair and skincare lines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple appointments.
