Job Brief
As a Generator Assembler, you will play a crucial role in constructing, assembling, and rebuilding generators and related machinery used across various industries such as construction, extraction, textiles, and paper manufacturing. Responsibilities
- Assemble and install components for generators according to technical specifications and blueprints.
- Conduct thorough inspections of assembled machinery to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform repairs or adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and quality assurance, to optimize assembly processes.
- Document assembly processes, inventory usage, and maintenance records.
- Train and mentor junior assembly technicians on best practices and assembly techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Generator Assembler or similar role in mechanical assembly.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and assembly techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control standards in industrial settings.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical assembly is a plus.
