Job Brief

Responsibilities

- Identify and report any irregularities or malfunctions in the meters to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety protocols while performing meter readings in various environments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from clients regarding their meter readings.
- Utilize handheld devices or software applications for data entry and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient route planning and effective time management.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to meter reading and utility services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in utility services is a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the utilities sector.
- Basic knowledge of gas and electricity meter operation and reading methods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Exceptional communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Proficiency with handheld devices and data entry software.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various locations as required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
