Job Brief
As a Foot and Ankle Surgeon, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating diseases, injuries, and deformities of the human foot and ankle. This position requires a highly skilled medical professional with extensive experience in orthopedic surgery, particularly in the field of podiatric conditions. Responsibilities
- Diagnose a wide range of foot and ankle disorders through physical examinations and diagnostic imaging.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical options for patients.
- Perform advanced surgical procedures, such as arthroscopy, joint reconstruction, and fracture repairs.
- Monitor patient recovery and rehabilitation, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients on foot health, injury prevention, and post-operative care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in foot and ankle surgery techniques and technologies.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a residency in orthopedic surgery or podiatric medicine.
- Board certification in orthopedic surgery or foot and ankle surgery.
- Proven experience in performing foot and ankle surgical procedures.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics of the foot and ankle.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
