Job Brief

The Fixed Wing Transport Aircraft Specialist is responsible for performing and directing in-flight operations to achieve mission success in combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue scenarios. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate advanced aircraft technology. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with aircraft communications, radar equipment, and defensive systems, ensuring all missions are executed effectively and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and manage aircraft communications and radar systems, including satellite linkages and jamming capabilities.
  • Conduct preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections of onboard equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Direct and execute cargo and personnel drops in alignment with mission objectives.
  • Utilize aircraft weapons and defensive systems to ensure mission security and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate in-flight duties with ground personnel to maintain situational awareness and mission efficiency.
  • Analyze mission data and provide real-time feedback to enhance operational strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures during all flight operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Fixed Wing Transport Aircraft Specialist or in a similar aviation role.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft systems, including communications, radar, and weapons systems.
  • Valid pilot license or relevant certifications in fixed wing aircraft operations.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and in challenging environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of aviation safety regulations and compliance procedures.
