Job Brief
The Drafting Layout Worker is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and layouts that support project specifications and engineering requirements. Responsibilities
- Produce precise technical drawings and layouts using CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret design concepts and specifications.
- Review and modify existing drawings to accommodate design changes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all drafting work.
- Maintain organized documentation of all drafts and revisions.
- Assist in project coordination and communication between teams.
- Utilize 3D modeling software to enhance design visualization.
- Conduct regular quality checks on drawings and layouts for accuracy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in drafting or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Drafting Layout Worker or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Strong understanding of drafting standards, building codes, and industry regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with project stakeholders.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling software is a plus.
