Responsibilities
- Organize and file documents, including correspondence, invoices, and receipts, following established filing systems.
- Retrieve and remove materials from files upon request, ensuring prompt access to essential documents.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date filing system to ensure efficient document retrieval and storage.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality regulations in handling sensitive documents.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of documents for archiving or disposal in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance document management processes and improve workflow efficiency.
- Perform regular audits of files to verify accuracy and completeness of information.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including data entry and document preparation tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Document Clerk or in a similar clerical role.
- Strong knowledge of filing systems and document management practices.
- Proficiency in using document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
