Job Brief
As a Corporate Meeting Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing a variety of corporate events, meetings, and conventions. This role requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful event logistics and delivery. A strong background in event planning and project management is essential, along with proficiency in budget management and vendor negotiation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of corporate meetings, events, and conventions, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.
- Develop and manage event budgets to maximize resource allocation and minimize costs.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, vendors, and stakeholders throughout the planning process.
- Research and recommend suitable venues and locations for various types of events.
- Negotiate contracts with venues, catering services, and other service providers to secure favorable terms.
- Oversee event logistics, including transportation, accommodation, and on-site support.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, health, and safety regulations during events.
- Collect and analyze feedback post-events to improve future planning and execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Corporate Meeting Planner or in a similar role within the event management industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and event planning tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Certifications such as Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) are a plus.
- Flexibility to travel and work outside of regular business hours as needed.
