Job Brief
The Copy Machine Operator is responsible for efficiently operating and maintaining various office machines, including photocopiers, duplicators, and photographic equipment. This role requires attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor photocopying, duplicating, and photographic machines to produce high-quality printed materials.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on copy machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Prepare and organize documents for copying, including collating, stapling, and binding as needed.
- Maintain inventory of printing supplies and order materials to avoid shortages.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures while managing machine settings for different print jobs.
- Assist with the training of new staff on the proper use of office machinery.
- Manage multiple copying and printing assignments simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in office technology is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Copy Machine Operator or similar role.
- Familiarity with various office machinery, including digital copiers and printers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for resolving equipment-related issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
