Job Brief
As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of the chiropractic office by performing administrative and clinical tasks under the supervision of a licensed chiropractor. Responsibilities
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments to optimize clinic workflow.
- Maintain and organize patient medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Perform patient intake procedures, including taking vital signs and medical histories.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist the chiropractor during procedures.
- Handle billing, coding, and insurance verification for patient services.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the chiropractor.
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment to ensure readiness.
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries effectively.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in healthcare is a plus.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in chiropractic or physical therapy.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, billing practices, and insurance processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling software.
