Job Brief
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Certified Mortician to oversee and direct all aspects of individual funeral services. Responsibilities
- Coordinate transportation of deceased individuals to the mortuary, ensuring compliance with legal and safety regulations.
- Conduct interviews with family members or authorized representatives to arrange funeral details and gather necessary information.
- Assist families in selecting pallbearers and officials for religious rites, providing guidance on available options.
- Prepare and manage funeral service documentation, including death certificates and permits.
- Direct the overall logistics of funeral services, including setup, vehicle arrangements, and personnel management.
- Provide transportation services for mourners, ensuring a respectful and dignified experience.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while offering empathetic support to grieving families throughout the process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to continuously improve service quality and compliance.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Mortician or Funeral Director from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience in funeral service operations or related fields.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and families.
