Responsibilities
- Utilize mold-making techniques to create burial vaults from materials such as concrete, stone, and plaster.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure precise product specifications.
- Operate and maintain various machinery and tools used in the production process.
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance production efficiency and workflow.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in training new employees on production techniques and safety measures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mold-making or related fields preferred.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or construction environment, preferably in burial vault production.
- Strong understanding of mold-making processes and materials.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
