Job Brief
As a Bank Note Designer, you will play a critical role in the creation and development of secure and visually appealing banknotes. Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative banknote concepts that incorporate visual artistry and security features.
- Research and analyze current design trends in currency to inform design decisions and enhance market appeal.
- Collaborate with engineers and manufacturers to ensure designs are feasible for production and incorporate advanced security technologies.
- Create detailed design specifications and prototypes for review and testing.
- Conduct usability studies and gather feedback to refine designs based on user interaction and practical application.
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory requirements related to banknote design and security.
- Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders for approval and modification.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product design, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in currency or similar product design.
- Strong proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and CAD tools.
- Knowledge of printing technologies and materials used in currency production.
- Understanding of security features and anti-counterfeiting measures in banknote design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various departments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
