Job Brief
As a Balloon Pilot, you will be responsible for piloting and navigating various types of hot air balloon flights, ensuring passenger safety and adherence to aviation regulations. This role requires proven experience in balloon operation, strong navigational skills, and a valid Commercial Pilot certificate. You will work closely with passengers to provide an enjoyable and memorable experience while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and ensure the balloon is in optimal condition for operation.
- Develop flight plans and navigate the flight path while considering weather conditions and regulations.
- Ensure the safety of all passengers during the flight experience.
- Communicate effectively with ground crew and air traffic control as necessary.
- Monitor and manage fuel and ballast levels throughout the flight.
- Perform post-flight inspections and maintenance checks on the balloon.
- Provide customer service to passengers, including safety briefings and flight information.
- Stay updated on aviation regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to balloon piloting.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Pilot certificate with a balloon rating.
- Minimum of [X years] experience in hot air balloon operations.
