Job Brief

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and test vehicle steering mechanisms for proper operation and alignment.
  • Replace worn or damaged parts and ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance repair processes and improve work efficiency.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in automotive repair.
  • Educate clients on maintenance practices and provide recommendations for vehicle care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an automotive technician program is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Auto Suspension and Steering Mechanic or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive suspension and steering systems.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for vehicle assessment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid automotive repair certification (ASE certification is a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues to clients effectively.
