Job Brief
The AADC Plans Staff Officer plays a vital role in managing the operational capabilities of communications, detection, and weapons systems that facilitate the control of air, ground, and naval operations. This position requires a seasoned professional with strong analytical skills and experience in military operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating emergency plans, coordinating response teams, and ensuring operational readiness of surveillance and detection systems, while providing critical technical support and guidance.
Responsibilities
- Manage the operation of communications systems essential for coordinating air, naval, and ground forces.
- Formulate and implement emergency plans for natural and wartime disasters.
- Coordinate emergency response teams and liaise with relevant agencies.
- Evaluate command center information to determine reporting needs for military and government entities.
- Oversee the functionality of surveillance and detection systems to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Provide technical information and advice regarding capabilities and operational readiness.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to support mission objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Military Science, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Proven experience in military operations, strategic planning, or defense communications.
- Strong understanding of command and control systems, as well as emergency management protocols.
- Proficiency in the operation and management of surveillance and detection systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- Relevant military certifications or training in operational planning or related areas are preferred.
