This comment concerns the Randstad Lisbon agency located at Avenida da República 26, 1069-228 Lisboa as well as the recruitment team located throughout the country. I advise you to to avoid working with Randstad as much as you can. This employer has no consideration for its employees. I was contacted in July 2023 to start on a project for one of their American clients doing business in the sales of textiles and shoes. They hid from me the fact that this position was only temporary, that means, once the Black Friday period is over, they fire people mercilessly giving them completely ridiculous and shameful reasons. Even if your results are good, they will throw you away like a big S. The truth about the human resources team, which are in fact INhuman resources. For almost 3 months I was unable to access the money from my restaurant card because the HR team did not change my postal address even though I had communicated the data to them on time. I had to deal with Edenred on my own to return a new restaurant card, HR at Randstad simply always refused to help me with this procedure. They force people to install work apps on their personal phones. Money is taken out of your paycheck if your VPN cuts out for too long. They do not hesitate to threaten employees financially. Before I left, I heard they will hire again in June new people for that same project. This is litteraly called pissing on people’s faces. You can give your best work and attitude, it won’t be enough, they use people for a few months and then fire them. If you are looking for a stable work position, avoid this Randstad agency, distributor of precarious contracts and if you have signed up with them, make sure you always have written proof of what they are asking you. Highly unprofessional company and recruiter. Who offers you a position but refuses to share the terms and conditions of said position (benefits/bonus, holidays, probation period etc.) before you agree to take it and send them all your personal information. Raises red flags 🚩, why would they choose to hide crucial information unless they know that you wouldn’t accept it if you knew. I don’t know of anyone that would agree to a job without knowing what they’re getting into. I’m making an official complaint about them.

Friendly and helpful lady today at Randstad. She was kind enough to assist me with the questions I had in regards to employment in Lisbon and Portugal. On the website you can search for work opportunities, however you need a security number before you can apply for jobs. Thank you kindly, the interior/design inside looked great….
