I would like to share my experience regarding the interview process I recently went through with your organization. While I understand that not every candidate can be selected, I believe it’s equally important that every candidate is treated with respect and professionalism throughout the process.
Unfortunately, I felt the experience lacked basic courtesy and communication. Candidates attend interviews not to beg for a job, but to seek an opportunity. They come with hope and dignity, and it’s important that this is acknowledged and respected.
There were instances where I was told, We will update you shortly, or Please come to the office today, followed by no clear response. Such uncertainty is emotionally draining, especially for someone actively looking for a job. We are human beings, not robots — we deserve clarity and timely communication.
Moreover, if HR professionals can share negative feedback about a candidate with the manager, there should also be a system where unprofessional behavior from internal staff can be reviewed or reported. Mutual respect should be the foundation of any interview process.
Thank you.
