Great company for physicians. Compensation has been excellent and when a client hospital delays payment they are transparent. Able to assist with credentialing as well although most of that work really has to be followed through on by a motivated physician in my experience. Easily the best locums experience I’ve had and I’ve worked with quite a few locums companies.

I have worked with Prolocums now since April of 2023 and my experience has been lifechanging. I have now contracted in 4 different states with 6 hospitals and have had consistent work where I’m not even thinking about going back to a W-2 position. The rates are considerably above the other locums companies that contact me and I have not had an issue at any of the facilities. The credentialing process was smooth and Sherry is always communicative. Even now, she updates me when ACLS or BLS expires and makes sure I stay on top of vaccinations. There was a delay in payment from one of the hospitals, but Prolocums was transparent about what was going on and why I wasn’t able to be paid on schedule and soon thereafter my payment came through. They have heard my feedback working at some hospitals for things that could be improved and advocated on my behalf to get reimbursements for Airbnb so that I can continuing living my life on the road rather than be confined to a hotel room. Ish has been proactive in finding me new assignments when he hears that current ones may have found a new hire and no longer need locums. I feel that we are aligned whereas I feel that other locums companies (some of the larger ones) do not seem to have my best interest in mind when they are presenting me with opportunities. While direct contracting usually offers the best reimbursement, the rates with Prolocums are close to that level and I don’t have to worry about all the logistics of malpractice, travel setup, and payments. I’m very happy and would recommend this company to any other physician.
