For nurses I am sure they are great but for HCAs they discriminate and do not appreciate them. McCare gives nurses several dollars more than the typical salary in hospitals while HCAs get $20.00/ hr max (it’s $21.17 for WRHA, going up to $23.00 with the new contracts ). McCare gives nurses a $40.00 per diem while HCAs do not get any per diem at all.
Their invoice sheets are confusing and not user friendly. I haven’t received a badge in the 8 momths that I have been working for them but they say Im required to have one when I go to facilities. McCare never gets back to you about anything (Humanity scheduling app access, missing hours, badge creation) or maybe it is because Im just an HCA.

Unable to connect with the organization to pick up shifts as RN. Not reassuring at all from an employee standpoint.
