I had a deeply disappointing experience with Insight Global. After applying for a role, a recruiter quickly reached out and requested references immediately, which I provided. They followed up with my references and later told me I was a very strong candidate — so much so that they claimed there would be no need for a formal interview with the client. Weeks passed with no update. I kept following up, only to hear repeated excuses: HR is on vacation, the account manager is unavailable, etc. It got to the point where I had to tell them I had another offer lined up just to push for a response. The next day, they conveniently claimed the client had put the position “on hold” — something that felt like a last-minute excuse. What made things worse was the lack of professionalism. The account manager stopped answering calls or texts entirely. For a company of this size, the way they treated a serious candidate was unacceptable. Job seekers beware: If you’re approached by Insight Global, be cautious. Don’t waste your time — there are better, more transparent agencies out there.

I have had a really positive experience with Insight Global. They helped me get a contract at Loblaws Digital as a part of the GenAI team. AJ was really helpful to help me get setup since it was my first tech contact in Canada. Opened up new doors for me. Pay was always on time and AJ is really nice to work with. So are the account managers at Insight who connect you with the company. Highly recommend for contracting.

She is the most professional recruiter I interacted with who showed the courtesy of responding back to me letting me know that the job position I applied for through Insight Global is filled. However, she was so kind to let me know that there is another job opportunity that is vacant. She connected me with the hiring manager for an interview of that company with that job opportunity to which I now attained.
