I have been applying for ad-hoc jobs for over a month. The staff are responsive on WhatsApp and they do respond before their working hours (8am) as there are jobs which starts at 7am and assistance is needed. They will reach out privately to offer job openings before mass reaching out to other giggers. Pay comes in timely, within the next week. The app reflects amount earned and when payment had been made.
The downside is that sometimes, job applications take a few days for review and one would be placed on reserve. The possibility of being called upon to work while being placed on reserve is closed to zero.
Wok Hey, which requires a gigger, in busy outlets, is a great company to work for. The pay per hour is higher and staff are nice, patient and forgiving to work with. Nonetheless, the work can be non-stop and repetitive and one has to be on the feet for the entire three hours.
