Job Brief

Responsibilities

- Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet industry standards and client specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget constraints.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace to prevent accidents.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to achieve precise cuts and finishes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings to guide assembly processes.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior woodworking assemblers as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in woodworking is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Wood Working Assembler or similar role in the woodworking industry.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking tools and machinery, including power saws, jointers, and mortisers.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in woodworking.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as required.
