Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Windshield Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for replacing and repairing broken windshields and window glass in various motor vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires hands-on experience in automotive glass installation, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess damaged windshields and determine the appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
- Remove and install windshields and window glass using industry-standard tools and techniques.
- Ensure proper sealing and alignment of glass to maintain vehicle integrity and safety.
- Adhere to safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines during installation processes.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding services rendered.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition.
- Keep detailed records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each job.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in automotive glass installation preferred.
- Proven experience as a Windshield Installer or similar role in the automotive service industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive glass types, installation techniques, and relevant safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy glass and tools.
