Job Brief

The Vocational Horticulture Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality vocational education in horticulture to students who have recently graduated from high school or are seeking to upgrade their skills. Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures, hands-on workshops, and practical demonstrations in various horticulture techniques.

  • Utilize modern teaching tools and technologies to enhance the learning experience.
  • Guide students in completing projects involving plant propagation, landscape management, and sustainable practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in horticulture, landscape design, or a related vocational field.
  • Previous teaching or instructional experience, preferably in a vocational education setting.
  • Strong understanding of horticultural practices, plant biology, and pest management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse student populations.
  • Certification in horticulture or related vocational training is an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with peers and industry professionals.
  • Proficient in the use of educational technology and classroom management tools.
