Job Brief
As a Video Production Assistant, you will play a vital role in the setup, maintenance, and dismantling of audio-visual equipment for various live and recorded events, including concerts, meetings, and presentations. Responsibilities
- Set up and test audio and video equipment, including microphones, cameras, and mixing boards, for live and recorded events.
- Maintain equipment functionality during events, troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring optimal performance.
- Dismantle and pack all audio and video equipment post-event, ensuring proper storage and inventory management.
- Assist in the operation of video cameras and recording devices during shoots to capture high-quality footage.
- Support the production team with various tasks, including cable management and scene setup.
- Collaborate with other crew members to ensure smooth event execution and adherence to production schedules.
- Stay updated on the latest audio-visual technologies and best practices in video production.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework in video production or a related field is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of audio and video equipment, including cameras, microphones, and sound systems.
- Familiarity with video editing software and production techniques is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment safely, adhering to safety protocols.
