Job Brief

We are seeking an experienced Toxicologist to conduct comprehensive research focused on understanding human diseases and enhancing public health outcomes. The ideal candidate will engage in clinical investigations, research and development, and related activities, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals. This role requires a strong background in toxicology, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in interpreting complex data related to chemical exposure and its effects on health.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on the effects of chemical substances on human health and the environment.
  • Design and implement toxicological studies to assess the safety and efficacy of pharmaceuticals and chemicals.
  • Analyze and interpret data using statistical methods to determine the impact of toxic compounds.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on research findings for regulatory submissions and stakeholder communication.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including pharmacologists, medical pathologists, and clinical researchers.
  • Stay current with scientific literature and advancements in toxicology and related fields.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards and guidelines in toxicological research.
  • Participate in peer reviews and contribute to the publication of research findings in scientific journals.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Toxicology, Pharmacology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in toxicological research, clinical investigation, or related scientific roles.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as EPA, FDA, and ICH guidelines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in statistical analysis software.
  • Familiarity with laboratory techniques and methodologies used in toxicology studies.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting complex information clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Certifications such as DABT (Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology) are a plus.
