Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain dockets of cases to be called in court.
  • Secure and provide information to judges and court officials.
  • Draft agendas, bylaws, and other official documents for township or city council meetings.
  • Respond to official correspondence and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate fiscal records and accounts for municipal operations.
  • Issue licenses or permits in accordance with local regulations.
  • Record data, administer tests, and collect fees as required.
  • Assist in the management and organization of local government records and documents.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in administrative support or clerical roles, preferably in a government setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with local government processes and regulations.
  • Proficient in using office software, databases, and record management systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
