As a Tax Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough audits and reviews to ensure adherence to applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Provide expert advice and support to clients regarding tax planning and compliance strategies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary financial information for tax reporting.
- Maintain detailed records of tax filings, payments, and correspondence with tax authorities.
- Assist in resolving tax-related inquiries and disputes with government agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience in tax compliance and planning, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in tax software and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work output.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex tax concepts.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
