Job Brief
As a Talent Agent, you will represent and promote artists, performers, and athletes in their dealings with current or prospective employers. You will be responsible for negotiating contracts, managing client relationships, and facilitating opportunities that align with your clients’ career goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and negotiation skills, a keen understanding of the entertainment or sports industry, and experience in client representation.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in negotiations with producers, studios, and other professionals in the entertainment or sports industry.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and career aspirations.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms for clients.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities for clients, including auditions, performances, and sponsorships.
- Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends and potential opportunities for clients.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout their careers.
- Collaborate with other industry professionals, such as managers, publicists, and legal advisors.
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and transactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Talent Agent or in a similar role within the entertainment or sports sectors.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
- In-depth knowledge of the entertainment or sports industry, including current trends and key players.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.
- Proficient in using industry-standard software and tools for client management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients simultaneously.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
