Job Brief
The Heating and Cooling Systems Engineer is responsible for the design, planning, and implementation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This role involves overseeing the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of centralized heating, gas, water, and steam systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with expertise in energy efficiency and system optimization. Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative heating and cooling systems to meet client specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies and energy audits to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems and related equipment.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards during all engineering processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HVAC systems into larger mechanical systems.
- Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports on system performance.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel and end-users.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in heating and cooling technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in HVAC system design, installation, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of energy efficiency practices and renewable energy solutions.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD and HVAC simulation software.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience managing projects and leading technical teams.
